I had severe back pain and sciatica which left my right foot weak and floppy like a "flipper" on the end of my leg. 
The pain at times was excruciating and after a number of sessions of physiotherapy I decided to try acupuncture.
Dave had sorted out a very painful tennis elbow a couple of years previously so I decided to try Dan-tien again.
I am absolutely amazed at how fast I got results with abdominal acupuncture after one session the "flipper" is already 
working like a foot again and the strength is returning to it. I am looking forward to getting the full use of my right leg 
back with the help of dave's incredible abdominal acupuncture.

I have had essential tremor for 6 years. The only cure in Western medicine is deep brain surgery. In less than a month 
your acupuncture treatments have significantly lessened the tremor . I wish I had come to you when my condition started. 
Like most people, I would have heard about acupuncture, but, as I rarely go to the doctor for anything, I would not have 
thought of going to an acupuncture practitioner. 
I'm getting a new lease on life, thanks to you.

I have used Dan-tien for years now for different aspects of illness that have suffered. I recently went back to Dave with a severe 
crick in my neck.
I had been suffering with it for days and it wasn't getting any better, with just one visit it has already improved dramatically, I can't 
believe I went around in pain for the last few days.
I would recommend Dan-tien without hesitation, even if you feel tired and a case of the winter blue's, Dan-tien have the answer

Hi All,
My wife has just completed 12 sessions with Dave for help with recovery from a brain haemmorage which had left her with a lot 
of problems after the sessions with Dave she has different (better) feelings all through her body and she is moving a lot easier 
(her balance was badly affected) and her pins and needles sensations while they haven't gone, they have cdertainly eased. 
We have to take a break for a minor eye operation for my wife and we will be resuming treatment as soon as we can. My wife 
has been combining Dave's treatment with some TCM medicine and while we could not swear on the bible that all her improvement 
is down to Dave, it's a helluva coincidence that her improvement has come about after Dave's treatment, we know how hard it is to

As a former intensive care nurse for 20 years, I had a fall while on a ski trip and developed right hip, low back 
and left shoulder pain. All the scans failed to show anything except a small scoliosis and pelvis slightly malaligned 
and yet I was in dreadful constant pain,affecting all aspects of my life. I couldn't sleep properly, couldn't exercise, 
sometimes it was difficult to even think straight with the pain.This contined for a long two years during which time  
I spent vast amounts of time and money seeing different doctors (as my husband is in the medical profession I got 
so many recommendations). I saw the best physio's, pain specialists, I endured facet joint injections, I had 
Botox injected into the shoulder muscles to try and calm the pain. I took pain medication that numbed my mind, 
but not the pain. I saw a chiropractor for a number of sessions.

My biggest regret is that I had not discovered Dan-tien acupuncture and Dave Shipsey at the beginning of my troubles. 
I have been attending David for the past couple of months and my pain is now reduced by 70%-80%, I am shocked at 
how incredible it has been. As my condition was there for 2 years it takes more than a few sessions to treat.

The only side affects have been positive. I am sleeping really well. I seem to suffer less PMT and monthly cramping, 
I have much more energy.
My family have noticed a huge difference.

Dan-tien and Dave will be my "go-to" with any issues from now on.

I recently had a very important interview and prior to attending I found myself to be extremely anxious and nervous. 

The anxiety and stress made my neck and shoulders extremely tense and painful, to the point where I could barely 

turn my head. I had been told that a session or two of acupuncture would make me calm, relaxed and confident, 

release the tension, stop the pain and give me back full range of movement.

I decided to make an appointment with Mr David Shipsey of Dan Tien Complimenary Health Studio and I found the whole 

experience very relaxing and very professional. Im happy to say that David put me very much at ease prior to treatment 

and when he started I didn't even feel any of the needles been inserted.There is a slight tweak of the needle which gives a 

slight sensation in the muscle and as he explained this is the release of tension in the body. I couldn't believe that all the 
pain and tension in my neck and shoulders was gone after one session. 

I attended my interview thereafter and am delighted to say it went well,no nerves and I left the interview happy 

with my performance. Two days later I was informed I got the job so if you need to relax and chill I would recommend 
a visit to Dan Tien.

for a breathing difficulty.

Dave took me through a course of Buteyko Breathing over a six week period which aided my breathing difficulties and in turn led to

I have had a back problem since I was involved in a serious car crash almost 2 years ago. I am not currently a patient of

Daves but work with him once a week. I was in severe pain with my back and Dave offered to do an ankle needle which

could be embedded and left in place for about 4 days. I was in so much pain I was happy to try this as I was driving to

England that night and knew the drive would be very uncomfortable.

I was amazed as my pain was reduced by 70-80% immediately after the needle was inserted. I was delighted that there

was absolutely no feeling from the needle. I couldn't understand how a needle just above my ankle could have such an

impact on my pain, I have used all kinds of pain relievers over the course of the last 2 years and none has been so powerful

and without any side affects.

I drove to England without a problem and left the needle in for 4 glorious pain free days! Dave showed me how to remove

the needle by just pulling on the plaster, I am still a bit freaked out by the powerful pain relief from a needle that I didn't

feel at any time!

I will be calling Dave next time I am in pain!

when I was 7 months pregnant I got the pregnancy rash - as I was told in Coombe hospital. It was really itchy and my arms,

legs and tummylooked really bad and red. I was told by the doctors to use some creams but it didn't help at all and it was

getting worse with every day.

I couldn't sleep because it was so itchy and at this point I knew I would do anything to help myself. I was looking for some

help and I decided to go for acupuncture even though I am affraid of needles.

I went to Dave's clininc and after one session I have found that the rash is not as red as it was before and the itchyness

was not as bad as 30 min before. I had 3 more sessions and my skin did look as normal and the itchy feeling was gone totally.

I would highly recommend acupuncture for this kind of problem to everybody and don't worry about the needles you wont

feel them and the results will be great - and don't listen to the doctors when they will tell you that the rash is normal and

can be there on your body till the end of your pregnancy because it's not thruthand you don't need to suffer.

I first attended Dave at Dan-tien because of severe sinusitis. When I went home that night it was as if someone

had switched on a tap in my nose. My nose began to run and didn't stop until my sinuses were completely clear.

to my delight I no longer have any problem with sinusitis.

On another occassion I was suffering with constipation after the treatment Dave told me I would have a bowel motion that day.

Sure enough when I arrived home I had to go straight to the bathroom to relieve myself.

Seeing what Dave can do for my sinusis, sluggish metabolism and several stressful situations I am very quick to give him a buzz if

anything is wrong & hope he can fit me in.

For these reasons I have no hesitation in recommending Dave and his unique form of abdominal acupuncture.

We were trying to conceive unsuccessfully for 3 years before we underwent tests at the Hari Unit.  My husband

was found to have a very low sperm count and poor motility.  He did some research and decided to try acupuncture

while we were waiting to start IVF/ICSI.  By the time we started our first cycle of IVF 3 months later there was a

big improvement in both my husband sperm count and motility.   I also started attending Dantien around this time to

help improve our chances of success and also to help me deal with the stresses and strains involved.  Our cycle was

successful and we had our eldest daughter in 2007.  I continued to see Dave throughout my pregnancy without doubt

this was one of the healthiest periods of my life.  I am very susceptible to sinus infections and I never got one while

attending Dantien.  We both went back to Dantien in 2008 to prepare for our second cycle of IVF and I am delighted

to say we were successful again and our second daughter was born in 2009.

As a Choreographer, Dancer and visual artist of almost 30 years my body has had its fair share of injuries. I have used

acupuncture on many occassions to resolve these problems.

On the morning of the premier of one of my shows, which was particularly physical, I put my back out, the only position

I could get any relief from the pain was flat on my back with my legs elevated on a chair. Dave did some abdominal

acupuncture and within moments I felt relief, the pain was gone and my range of movement was almost normal again.

Abdominal acupuncture is incredible it is gentle yet so powerful. I would recommend it without reservation.

I was very sceptical about acupuncture until my daughter introduced me to Dave Shipsey.

I had been in intractable severe pain, since falling on my tail bone 3 months before. Every test in the hospital showed

no fracture and no reason for my pain which on a scale of 1-10 was constantly at 9. This was continuous for 3 months

and I was on round the clock prescription pain relief medication.

Dave used the abdominal acupuncture system technique he learned in China.

Half an hour later it was a miracle no pain at all! I continued to be pain free, and have resumed a normal life for me.
